Do you get involved with your child(s) School?

Not many parent's get that involved with their child's school and it puzzles me on why? I have always been a IN YOUR FACE Parent for all students at the schools my sons have attended and I am very well known.

The PTSO or some schools still have a PTA is a very good resource for all parents and students to go to if they want to learn on how we are helping and listening to our students. It is good for a parent to attend a few of these meetings to know what is going on at the school and also to learn that we do care about you.

We have our meetings every 2nd Tuesday and we provide diner for all that wish to come and younger children also are welcome.

So do you attend the PTSO or PTA meetings at your child(s) school? If not why?

Pictures of our PTSO and then  the Booster President and Me dinner tonight was spaghetti and salad and bread all made by one of our PTSO PARENTS!!!!!

  2. I used to love soccer games and recitals with my daughter. Now she spends her time in courtrooms (she practices law). so I don't get to sit in on those much. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I encourage every parent to know at least the truth about what goes on in your child's daily life. What you can hear from the child may not necessarily be true. You need to be proactive and be involved to know what's going on.
