Parents Never Stop Worrying About Their Children

Parenting is one of the most challenging jobs but it also has its own fun. Parents love their kids and always want to see them happy and successful. They are also protective and don't want their kids to face any kind of problems. They worry about their children continuously that sometimes cause unnecessary conflicts between them and their children. My parents worry about me all the time and I sometimes find it annoying. I know it’s their love for me but now I am grown up and responsible and would appreciate if I am allowed to take my own decisions.

Parents have more experience of life and they feel that their children are immature and may get into trouble due to some silly decision that they may take. I believe that parents worrying about their children is fine but as they grow into adults they should give them some more freedom and just tell them that as parents they are here to support them.

  1. Like you, I have a hard time allowing the struggle. But as RuPaul said, "Expectations lead to resentment, and it's when you can allow people to be themselves that you really get to experience magic."

  2. This is true, my mother in law keeps calling to check on my husband. I have kids and I am always worried about them.

Welcome to the community! I think you will like it here. It seems you are interacting already! :D
My kids are all but grown (the youngest is 17), and I don't worry too much...I know they are strong people! Still, you can't help it sometimes, can you?
