What It’s Like to Have Written a Book Almost Nobody Has Read And Why Am I Still Writing?

Jason McBride is the creator of the Intellectual Ninja and the Scourge of Scoundrels series. He is also the author of Watch Out For Sneaker Waves. He is currently hard at work on his first book of fiction, available Spring 2014.

He is the proud father of four amazing children and the happy husband of one wife. He aspires to be an extreme sleeper.

  1. God, I feel your pain. My novel is stained with coffee and covered in dust. Yet I pull it out and write a paragraph then tuck it back onto my desk drawer.

  5. I take my hats off for you as you had achieved something that most writers or want to be writer like me, ever dreamed of. Keep writing as ten is better than nothing. Who knows that from those ten whose lives you had touched, will sprout ten more, and it goes on. Take care :)

  8. I published a book ten years ago. Not a lot of sales and I kind of cringe when I read it again, but a few people laughed at a few of my jokes. Keep on going - you obviously have a handle on writing!
