Introductions Are in Order...

One of my many character creations, "The Voo Doo Lady"
Hello everyone, and WELCOME TO PWG! I thought I'd give you guys the "skinny", since most of you probably do not know me. I hope you all choose to do the same, so I can get to know you, as well.

My name is Laurie Tysinger. I am an artist, craftsman, actor, costume designer and creator, writer, editor, musician, singer, songwriter, dancer, and mother of four beautiful and talented children, just to name a few things. My motto is "I create, therefore, I am". I work as a seasonal actor in a haunted house, where I design and create my own costumes, props, and characters. I also play bass and sing, and have done so in numerous unknown bands over the years.

Yes, I love to create things. I make paintings, leather masks, wood carvings, jewelry, dolls, costumes, hair pieces and dreads, steampunk and cybergoth stuff, sculptures, clothing, and much more. I like to "Frankenstitch" various pieces of clothing together to make them what I want them to be. I have also been known to do "Jean Splicing", since I can rarely find them long enough to fit properly, anyway.

I am a writer, editor, and administrator at Fullof Knowledge.com., ExpertsPages.com, and PostAnyArticle.com. You should check them out as well. I also write occasionally for Bubblews and Yahoo, as well as having two blogs here on Blogger. I am so glad to be here at PWG now as well. It has inspired me to write again...something I have not made time for in quite a while! I have also begun editing recently for a brilliant man who researches and writes about Tzolkin Cosmology. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY, but that is how I like it!

Enough about me, for now. I'd like to hear about my fellow writers here at PWG! Who are you all, and what do you like to do? What do you enjoy writing about? What have been your experiences on other sites, and in writing, or in your other fields of interest? Inquiring minds really do want to know!

A Personal Welcome to PWG

I realize the "How It Works" page is a bit formal and reads more like an sales pitch. But that is typical for what people in this niche would expect from an Online Content site. They want to know all the details. What I wanted to now is extend a personal welcome to each of you on this the end of our very first day as a social network community. I also wanted to clarify what we are and what we are not.

We are a community of writers of online content, and many of us already know each other from other sites. We also have more than our fair share in common with this often difficult effort. We write to make ends meet. We write because, for whatever reason, this is our only means of  interacting with other human beings. We write because we have to get things out that need to be said. And we write because we are called to do so.

Unfortunately, the business of our niche has not fared well for us writers. So this is where we address what we here at PWG are not. We are not a site which earns money from the work of writers. No one earns here without writing themselves. This is why page views for our own work is the only way to earn here. This is a universal rule here. I will only earn what I earn in page views for my own posts like everyone else here. Additional earnings generated will be rolled over to reduce the time it takes us to receive payment, and to ensure everyone receives their earnings.

I have been described as being the highest earning writer on other sites, but I am a novice among my peers. As I've seen some very talented and well-known writers join us, I feel certain I will not be the highest paid writer here. We have some very unique advantages here that no other site has.

(1) Our Ad Sponsor owns & hosts our site and we pay nothing for the space.
(2) We do not have a CEO or a President that we must pay tribute financially.
(3) Officially, we are a "blog" and not bound by typical "Online Content" restrictions. Our posts can earn revenue when we simply login to say Good Morning!
(4) Unofficially, we are the best online resource anywhere in the world for bringing massive traffic to needy sites. In this respect we are now a "Union of Online Writers" and a home for others like us.
(5) We only earn from our own content, so no one here is fearful of losing earning writers to competitive sites. We can network and actively link to our other pay sites here so that everyone knows where the best opportunities are.

What these very important points show us is that we have already shrugged off much of the financial liability typically associated with this niche which brings more funds back to us. We have great earning potential here. And the more their are of us, the more we all prosper.

I don't require a patent for this new "aggressive" platform. In fact, I would welcome any site employing our services to do this legitimately. They damn well should have been doing it all along in my opinion.

So there you have it. Welcome to PWG. Let's do this.

Lily Allen - You Go Baby!

zoviat says-
I am fed up with small minded people sharing their blatantly rude ideas of other people to unwilling listeners. Your racist, sexist, homophobic and harsh remarks about celebrities without really knowing them are most unwanted.

It seriously gets on my nerves when Katie Hopkins criticizes Lily Allen for putting on a little weight, but that is natural during a pregnancy, isn't it? But looking at her recent photographs, I felt the same.
Have a look at some interviews she’s done recently. If you can make it through that bloody accent to listen to the kaka she says, you deserve a medal mate. What happened to you Lily?

I always thought you were the breath of fresh air in the pop world! But, You should have stayed where you started in 2002. Anyhow, fat or thin, that is not the point of consideration here but, a horrible personality makes anyone horrible especially in show-business. And, you are only getting worse.

In the Nook: A Review of the Nook ePublisher by Barns and Noble

Simple Nook Touch eReader
Months back, I was told about a great little resource called Nook offered by Barnes & Noble that allows authors to publish their works of poetry, short stories, memoirs and basically whatever. I admit I didn't give it much thought until I went to do some writing at my local coffee spot hangout. I noticed a lot of people had these nifty little eReaders out on the tables while they drank coffee and socialized.

My fellow author pal nodded at me and smiled. "They could be reading your book right now." He remarked with some arrogance. Intrigued, I looked this new thing up online and joined. It was quite easy to get started and in no time I had nearly 50 pages of my book project saved in a working Nook file.

Now, here is the part that fascinated me. When I'm ready to publish, my book will be available for purchase both on Nook and on Barnes & Noble online eReader listings. And if I get enough sales they will print my book into hardcover and put it on their shelves. Amazing. I could become a real life novelist just that easy. I recommend anyone with a dusty old novel project sitting under their desk to give it a review.

So far, I'm proud to say my book is nearly completed using the easy to use interface and helpful resources there at the touch of a button. It formats my pages for me and lets me preview exactly what my layout will look like in published form. It's quite odd to see my own words sitting there in front of me as it would be if I were reading a Steven King novel. This is perhaps the aspect of the Nook system that is so appealing.

As enjoyable as it is to read a book online via the Nook eReader it is just as enjoyable to write with the Nook publishing platform. It's free to write using the downloadable software so I can't really use that as an excuse for not finishing my book anymore. In this respect, I guess Nook is also a motivational tool for us procrastinating future best sellers.

Heroes Everywhere

Everyone wants to be a hero. We all watched superman, batman, spider man, and many other superheroes and wanted to be like them. Tell me to be a superhero do we really need to wear a costume and wear masks and have high tech stuffs? No! We can all be a hero not to the world but to a certain someone who desperately needs help. Someone who is ill, financially not stable, had a rough day, a kid who is bullied, an old man crossing streets a man staying in the streets. We can also be a hero by giving t-shirts, toys and some of your old stuffs to some unfortunate kids. I watch some videos in YouTube that inspires me every day to do something good for people. If you give something to someone unfortunate you will be much happier than the person who received it. There is a song that I would like to share with you that you can relate to other things, the song goes like this

“Love is something if you give it away
Give it away, give it away.
Love is something if you give it away
It will come right back to you
It’s just like a magic penny
Hold it tight and don’t get any
Lend it spend it give it away
It will come right back to you”

I used to sing this song when I was young. I joined a relief operation in the Philippines one time I joined a team of many teens including me it was sponsored by Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) it’s a humanitarian agency operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for the purpose of providing individual and community development and disaster relief. I helped them give foods to the typhoon affected people each time a person came to take the package they had a big smile which is a ray of hope in their life. I don’t want to keep you here only reading but I also want you to check out some videos that might inspire you . Have a good day and don’t forget to share J

PWG: It's Like Facebook But It Pays You.

What if Facebook paid you a portion of the millions they earn from your page views everyday? Would that be special? How about if they paid you 100% of their total revenue earned from page views? That sounds amazing, I agree. That's the model behind this new social networking blog platform called Preferred Writers Group (PWG) myself and a few fellow writers are developing.

Sharing and Commenting
If you enjoy posting on Facebook & Commenting on your friend's posts, you can do that here and earn real money. 150 - 200 words or slightly more than a paragraph is enough to be considered a post. In fact, this post has already met the minimum required for a post here. Submit a post and leave comments on your friend's post. It's that easy.

Watch Your Earnings Grow
The overall projected earnings is posted on every page. So you will always have a good idea of how well we are doing. At the end of the month these earnings are divided up by page views and every member gets paid based upon their total valid page views. Here is where PWG begins to differ from any other site. You get paid 100% of your total earnings in valid page views promptly on a monthly basis. As we grow the payouts will become weekly.

Back Link, Re-Post & Promote
As long as your content is yours, you can re-post here. You can back link to your other revenue sites. You can promote your product or articles located elsewhere with links directly from your posts. As writers ourselves, we can relate and are supportive of your need to earn. Rather than come down on you for even mentioning other earning sites, we hope to be resourceful to our members in every way possible. One of the most popular questions is, "Where can I earn money online?" Here you can tell them. You can share the links to those sites directly from your posts. Fullofknowledge.com & Yahoo Contributor Network. And even share the pros and cons of other sites based on your experience.

I'm No Hemingway
You don't have to be. A simple paragraph about your day, will earn you money on every valid page view. The same thing you would typically submit on a long Facebook post will earn you real money here. If you would like to learn more about PWG and get in on the ground floor of a great new earnings site Click the "How It Works" Link in the top toolbar!
