Vlog #3 : What Are We Doing Here? | Solivagus of PWG

Hey All - It's Solivagus (Drew De Jesus) here, your friendly admin floater who just goes around doing stuff.  I noticed this question posed on facebook "What is this group for" or some such.  Don't quote me.  Even though there are quotes.

In any case I took it upon my (pretty) self to put my (beautiful) face on a video and explain to you guys the difference between this place and TOS (the other site).  I don't wanna point fingers (bubblews) but sometimes it's hard to avoid naming (bubblews) names when it comes down it.

There's a difference between what we're doing here.  And I hope that this video explains it well.

Thank you for watching and continuing to be the most impressive upstart blog I've seen in a long time.  It's not long until we all stop posting introductory posts and start getting the hang of it all - providing a steady stream of content to the masses, who YEARN for knowledge!

I have also seen some worry about whether or not involvement here will result in your being abolished from the pay system of bubblews.  IF that were the case...

Let's say it was true... that they are going to black mark us all... worst case scenario is realized...

well...

Is that really the kind of organization you want to belong to?  Not I, said the fly to the spider.

Chew on it,
Drew De Jesus

Preferred Writers Putting Admins Behind The Pen.

My PWG Earnings Are Taking Off! I've quickly found that by requiring us admins to write-to-earn has helped me make us a better site. The things you grumble about as a writer, I also grumble about. Well who is going to fix this mess?! >.<
So now I can fix it. I can see, first hand, the things that need to be done to make your writing/earning experience enjoyable and profitable.

I love the tag line I see on nearly every earning site I've joined, "If you don't make money, we don't make money." At PWG I'm going to make money regardless because I write. And I'm seeing that I can make more money here as a writer than I ever could have "legitimately" as an Admin. My posts are taking off and already out classing my other pay sites. I guess I should share how I do it.

ID Tag Your Posts
First, I have seen I need to place a small Post ID Tag on the bottom of each of my posts so I can easily key it into the search box on the Post dashboard. I key in "10197" and then search and all my posts pop up! I can see how much I've earned in page views.

Real Time Earnings
Now this brings us to the important subject of Estimated vs. Actual valid page views. Our page views we see in blogger include crawlers, bots, stats-counting sites and a whole myriad of over stuff we don't get paid for. Fortunately, our gracious Google host filters much of this out for us and our views are closely similar to our actual valid paid views. In fact, when compared to our over 4000 page views there was only a $0.14 difference. That's pretty good! If you guys want me to spit the $14 cents 4000 ways I will, but I figure we can simply leave it in to go toward the next month (lol).

Cashing out
I don't know about you, but as a writer I don't want to sit waiting on my money. If its a dollar I want it in my Paypal. As a writer, that dollar often means the difference between Instant Coffee and Starbucks. O.o
So when our overall funds reach $100, we are cashing in! We will still have to wait on snail mail after cashing in, but once Laurie and I get it we will be sending it to you.

Keep Sharing!
Keep sharing those old posts. You don't have to delete and re-post that article from weeks back. If it's been awlile send it back through the share sites, etc. Your PWG posts keep on earning. If your post from last month earns this month you will get paid for it.

we are still working out the bugs here at PWG, but the weight here will always be in the writer's favor. Because we are ALL writers!
