To Our Valued Advertising Affiliates

We welcome our valued advertising affiliates to Preferred Writers! Compliance with various carrier network policies across many platforms to ensure the integrity and protection of our advertisers is important to us. Having said this, our first priority will always be to our writers and our readers.

We are a community of writers/publishers that share quality content across a wide range of sites, blogs and social media networks to provide our readers with news, updates, creatives, art and reviews. We speak freely here and voice our opinions on a wide variety of topics and issues. We understand this may not always mesh with the policies of the carrier network you utilize to promote your ads.

A very small percentage of what we earn via our many monetized platforms comes from advertising here on our home community site. In truth, advertisers earn more from partnering with us than we do from them. In exchange, our Preferred Writers Staff reserve the right to our freedom of expression, opinion and speech.

Sincerely,
Preferred Writers

Add Your Own Ads To Your Posts.

As you may have noticed, we are all about helping our members earn. Some of you have already utilized the networking/sharing benefits of PWG. Others haven't shared, interacted, or labeled their posts for ideal placement in the search engines. I've left earning tips and coaching advise in their comments without much success. As a result these few have not fared very well. But I am determined to help!

All PWG members who have an Adsense approved account may place their own 728 x 90 Banner Ad under their posts. We are owned by Google here so even if you are on a hosted account you should still be able to run your ads here without any restrictions. An example has been added to show you how this should look on your post.

How To:
After you have completed your post and added your labels, click on the "HTML" button in your editor and paste your own ad code below the html tag </script>.
Use the "Preview" to ensure your post and banner placement is to your liking.
You may go back and include your banner to any previously posted article.

Guidelines:
Same as any other site that allows this, you will be responsible for your own ads.
Only (1) 728x90 Ad may be placed under your post. Do not run a trail of ads down the page!
Only Adsense approved ads are permitted at this time. If you are using another network such as Contera, Chikita, etc. Contact me for approval.
If your ad causes pop-ups, intrudes on the readers in any way, it will be removed along with your post. Adsense ads do not intrude and you will have no issues using their banners.

How do we get paid?

I've been looking at my dashboard for my old Blogger blog (Car 58, where are you?) and I see I have $27.00 in my Adsense account. Unfortunately I need $150 to be paid, so I have a way to go, obviously.

It looks like Bloggers with Adsense accounts get paid directly by Google - is that right?

Or does Preferred Writers Group AKA Eden Jaid receive the money directly and it is then distributed through PayPal etc.?

That seems like a fair bit of admin work, as opposed to the more transparent and hands-free Google Adsense method.

I'm not casting doubt or anything, just wondering at the mechanics of the thing. If I read the Adsense information correctly, no payments are made until 30 days after the month in which an individual account exceeds $150, which could be a fair while, depending on how many page views are earnt.

Anyway, I'm new here, and maybe I'm just totally wrong. Certainly wouldn't be the first time! I like the environment and the concept and I think I'll enjoy my time here.

Infolinks with Google Adsense? Yes!

Did you know that infolinks can be used in addition to google adsense?  That's right!  Google has officially responded to a question posed by a social media expert that I follow on twitter and has said that the use of 3rd party ads on your site are perfectly alright provided they:

1. Do not attempt to associate themselves with google ads.
2. Are clearly of a different look and template than google ads.
3. Are not linked to 3rd party material deemed unsuitable by google ads.
4. If competitors ads are similar to google ads, take google ads as precedent and change the other.
5. They do not cause pop ups or install hardware.

There you have it.  Unfortunately that leaves a LOT of options out, but there is one which we can make use of on Blogger and I encourage Eden to do so in order to maximize our earnings.

The name of the company is Infolinks and can be found by clicking here.

As I continue to learn more about maximizing our earnings on this blog I will keep us updated.

Thanks for all the contributions so far - we need to start gearing out efforts towards people outside of the PWG as well.  I think the recipes are a great option and do perfectly well on pinterest.

Keep it up fellas.
