Collective Creative Consciousness, Anyone?

What does three hours of "trying" to sleep equal?

I'll tell you exactly what it equals :

2 hours of "tossing, and turning , and pondering"
1 song lyric
2 vocal melodies
1 Instrumental reworking
and at least...
4 articles
(5 counting this one)!

The level of creative juices flowing is off the scale. I blame PWG! What have you people done to me? It has to be a by product of the "Collective Creative Consciousness" of this site! My brain already rarely shuts up, but this is ridiculous! Can one die from having too many thoughts running through their head continuously, and almost simultaneously?

Unfortunately, how much of all this will make it to fruition, and how much will wind up in the "article notes" file on my desktop ( with the hundred or so already there) remains to be seen! Since I still can sleep, at least some of it will. Anyone else having this, um...problem?
More to come...

You only Know you love her when you let her go!!!

This particular song by Passenger - Let Her Go is really bugging my mind. So the reason of this is I broke up with my girlfriend whom I really loved (it was clean break up). I really loved her but I realized it more when I let her go. Why does people feel this way? What is this feeling? it makes me crazy. This feeling is very hard to face when it comes.

I don't know if you guys also feel like this or is it just me? Sometimes things don't just work out. And this is for the people like me who are feeling this way stay strong, and if God wants you can be together again and hope I can too (she was a good girl)

Five Songs That Reminds Me of my College Years

I am listening to songs in my phone right now and I again heard five songs that reminds me of the past. These songs sometimes made me feel blue and sometimes made made smile.

What are the songs that made you think about your past?

Here are some random of the songs that makes me remember college years:

1. Insensitive by Jan Arden
How do you cool your lips? After a summer’s kiss? How do you rid the sweat? After the body bliss?
I am actually listening to it know and college memories stikes me at this very moment. This song etched my mind and heart when I was in my first year college. We were many in a room and my roommates always plays this one. That time, I was in immense heartache that’s why this song still struck my heart. I guess I will always remember my college years with this one.

2. Ikaw Lamang by Silent Sanctuary

This is one of my favorite songs way back college. I am so in love with this song that I made a cover of this (but I don’t know now where is it). The song is a Filipino song sung by a band here in the Philippines called Silent Sanctuary. The English term for this is “Only You” The songs says that whatever will happen, the boy will love the girl only and no one else. I remember this when I was in my second year in college in our dormitory’s veranda. It is a very solemn song and I feel that the singer really loves the girl.

3. Irreplaceable

This kind of makes me laugh because I was in my first year college then and my boyfriend that time always sings this to me. I thought it is a love song or what but after months, after we broke up, that’s when the time I remembered him because he always sings this to me. LOL

4. One Way Jesus

This is one of the songs that I will never forget. The memory of me hearing this song for the first time still give me goosbumps. It’s as if I can feel our Lord God touching me and and my heart. I was in a service then when I first heard this and until now, I never want to forget it.

5. Terrified

Whenever I hear this song, all I can remember is my friend and roommate. When this song was very popular, she played this everyday for over 50 times. Guys, please note that this is 50 times a day. Haha. But I just love her so much that saying things like “Will you please stop that song” is of course a no-no to me even though my ears are hurting already. One of the songs indeed that I will never forget in my dorm life.

These are just five of those things that I will never forget about my college life. These songs reminds me that some time in my life I have been in a dormitory full of strangers which turned out to be the friends that I will keep for life.

How do we get paid?

I've been looking at my dashboard for my old Blogger blog (Car 58, where are you?) and I see I have $27.00 in my Adsense account. Unfortunately I need $150 to be paid, so I have a way to go, obviously.

It looks like Bloggers with Adsense accounts get paid directly by Google - is that right?

Or does Preferred Writers Group AKA Eden Jaid receive the money directly and it is then distributed through PayPal etc.?

That seems like a fair bit of admin work, as opposed to the more transparent and hands-free Google Adsense method.

I'm not casting doubt or anything, just wondering at the mechanics of the thing. If I read the Adsense information correctly, no payments are made until 30 days after the month in which an individual account exceeds $150, which could be a fair while, depending on how many page views are earnt.

Anyway, I'm new here, and maybe I'm just totally wrong. Certainly wouldn't be the first time! I like the environment and the concept and I think I'll enjoy my time here.

Earning Money Writing for Examiner.com

US Gov. image in public domain

Although I write for 10 or so different websites, the one where I earn the most money is Examiner.com. so I thought the other members of the Preferred Writer Group would want to know about it.

Back when print was king, I earned $400 - $450 per article writing for magazines, but those days appear to be over. Now I write for less than a penny per page view, but the place that penny goes the furthest for me is Examiner.

Not only does Examiner pay a higher percentage of a penny than the other sites I write for, but it attracts many viewers so I don't have to do all the work of promoting my articles.

Examiner's minimum word count requirement is only 150 words per article, so it isn't difficult to come up with ideas and articles. If you know a little basic SEO and have some social networking skills, it helps pull in readers, page views and earnings more quickly.

Earn an Easy $25

Right now Examiner is also offering a "signing bonus" of $25 if new writers contribute two articles of 150 words or more for their first two months. This helps cover the first two normally low-paying months while a writer starts to build a library of articles and begins to get the word out.

If you type my name (Kathryn Darden) or my user ID (375341) in the application, as the person who referred you, I earn whatever bonus they are doing at the time -- usually $25.

If you have not tried Examiner, you should check it out. It is not "get rich quick," but for any writer who can steadily generate articles of 150 words or more each month, it is a good way to earn several hundred dollars a month once you have a library of content up. That is definitely money I can put to good use!

Examiner is currently in the US and Canada. I am not sure what other countries it might be in now or expanding into.

FreeDigitalPicutres : Beautifully Colored Bush Leaves

 Hey PWG

The latest update to my freedigitalpictures blog has five photos of these really beautiful leaves I saw outside my house.  It was nighttime so I had a hard time getting the light and focus to cooperate but I don't think anyone's going to use these anyway.

http://freedigitalpictures.blogspot.com/2014/02/very-colorful-leaves-wide-focus.html

If you are like me and you gather up as many amazing nature shots as you can to put into a folder and cycle on your desktop backgrounds, then these make great backgrounds, trust me.  And there's even a vertical shot that looks amazing on my iphone background.

I hope you guys are enjoying using PWG, or at least figuring out how to.

I think tomorrow I am going to write up a how to guide unless Eden beats me to it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an adorable dog that is requiring my complete attention.

Oh by the way, I went back and checked some of my old posts and they were under the 150 word limit.  So I had to add more content to those posts.  I don't mind sort of 'soft-moderating' the forums to poke people into adding tags to their posts and stuff like that...

But people, really, stop using + in your tags, this isn't bubblews.  lol.

aren't i beautiful?

2 Things I Appreciate About PWG

Starting Something New

First off, I just want to thank Jaid for inviting me to this wonderful opportunity. I've been really frustrated over bubblews since they don't seem to pay attention to the missed redemptions. Getting this opportunity up is really great!

1st -

PWG enables us to freely write, and this is why I appreciate this opportunity so much. We are free to post almost about anything, and everything. I think this is how things should go for writers.

2nd -

I love that this site enables me to edit things using HTML tags. It's a good way to attract readers.

-

PWG was putting up a good move, and it will surely help those frustrated writers on other sites. God Bless, and long live.
